Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data is processed when you use Moqverse, the website and the browser-based 3D Mockup Studio editor, why it is processed, and what your rights are.
1. Who is responsible
Moqverse is operated by Grooveneck, a Finnish sole proprietorship (toiminimi), Business ID 3640189-3, Malagankatu 3, 00220 Helsinki, Finland. A sole proprietorship is not a separate legal person: the data controller is the entrepreneur who runs the business under the trade name Grooveneck. Their details are available in the Finnish Business Information System (YTJ) under the Business ID above.

2. In short
- There are no user accounts, no cloud storage, no payments and no advertising.
- The graphics and 3D models you open in the editor stay on your device.
- Moqverse does not use visitor analytics or advertising trackers, and does not set tracking cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics is not enabled.
- Personal data is processed only to deliver and protect the website and to answer your emails.
3. Your files and projects
In the current Free Beta version:
- Graphics (PNG, SVG, WebP, JPG) and 3D models (GLB, glTF) that you open are processed in your web browser and are not sent to Moqverse or to anyone else.
- Saving a project creates a JSON file that your browser downloads to your own device. You can open the project again later from that file. If you choose to include your graphics and models in the project file, they are stored inside that file on your device.
- Moqverse has no user accounts and no cloud storage, so we hold no copies of your projects. Keeping backups of your project files is up to you.
- Payments and Pro subscriptions are not available yet.
4. Data we process
Website hosting and security
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages by Cloudflare, Inc., which also provides security services for it. When your browser loads the site, Cloudflare processes technical connection data, such as your IP address, the requested address, the time of the request and your browser's user agent, in order to deliver the website and to protect it against abuse and attacks. Cloudflare may keep technical and security logs in accordance with its own policies. We use this data only to operate and secure the website.
The built-in 3D models, fonts and other files of the website are served from the website itself. The website does not load fonts, scripts or other content from third-party services.
Cookies and local storage
Moqverse itself does not set cookies, including tracking cookies. Our hosting and security provider may use strictly necessary cookies to protect the service. We do not use cookies or similar technologies for advertising or for tracking you across websites.
The editor saves a few interface settings in your browser's local storage so that it looks the same when you come back. They are stored only on your device and are never sent to us.
| Key | What it stores |
|---|---|
ms-lib | whether the model library panel is open |
ms-editor | whether the editor panel is open |
ms-tab | the editor tab you used last |
These keys never contain your graphics, models or projects. You can delete them at any time by clearing the site data for this website in your browser.
Email and feedback
If you email us at [email protected], or use the feedback form on the website (which opens your own email app and sends nothing by itself), we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the content of your message.
Messages sent to [email protected] are forwarded by the Cloudflare Email Routing service to a mailbox hosted by Hostinger. According to Cloudflare's documentation, Email Routing does not store or access the content of the emails it forwards. The mailbox provider, Hostinger, stores the messages on our behalf.
We keep contact and feedback emails for no longer than 12 months after the matter has been closed, unless a longer period is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
5. Purposes and legal bases
- Delivering and securing the website: our legitimate interest in providing a working and secure service (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- Answering questions and feedback: our legitimate interest in answering you and improving Moqverse (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Enquiries you send before entering into an agreement with us, for example about a future paid service or a business arrangement: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
- Keeping messages longer when required: compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)), or our legitimate interest in establishing, exercising or defending legal claims (Article 6(1)(f)).
We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
6. Service providers
- Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting (Cloudflare Pages), security, and email forwarding (Cloudflare Email Routing).
- Hostinger: hosting of the mailbox that receives our email.
Both process personal data on our behalf, under their data processing terms.
7. Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Cloudflare is based in the United States and may process data outside the EU/EEA. Cloudflare states that it is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and that its data processing addendum also includes the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
According to Hostinger's privacy policy, Hostinger may process data on servers outside the EU/EEA, and such transfers are based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or other safeguards permitted under the GDPR.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to data portability where it applies. To use these rights, email [email protected].
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Finland this is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
9. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the way Moqverse handles personal data changes, for example before features such as user accounts or payments are introduced. The date at the top shows the latest version. We will announce material changes on this website.
