Terms of Service
These terms apply to the use of the Moqverse website and the browser-based 3D Mockup Studio editor ("Moqverse"). By using Moqverse you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use Moqverse.
1. Service provider
Moqverse is provided by Grooveneck, a Finnish sole proprietorship (toiminimi), Business ID 3640189-3, Malagankatu 3, 00220 Helsinki, Finland. Contact: [email protected].
2. The service and the Free Beta
Moqverse is a browser-based editor for creating 3D product mockups. It is currently offered as a free beta version. You can use it without an account and without payment.
In the Free Beta, exports (PNG images, 4K images, GLB files and the 3D viewer) are not available, and the 3D preview shows a Moqverse watermark. As a beta service, Moqverse is still being developed: features may change, be added or be removed, and the service may be interrupted, changed or discontinued.
3. Pro
Moqverse Pro is under development and cannot be bought yet. Its features, price and terms will be published before it becomes available, and its purchase and use will be subject to those terms.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the graphics, images, 3D models and other content you use in Moqverse ("your content"). We do not acquire any rights to your content.
Your content is processed in your own browser and is not uploaded to us. Project files are saved on your own device, and you are responsible for keeping copies of them.
You are responsible for having the necessary rights to use your content, including any trademarks, logos, designs and 3D models of others, and for how you use the mockups you create.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Moqverse:
- in breach of the law, or to infringe the rights of others;
- to disrupt, overload or attack the service;
- to circumvent its technical limitations, such as the preview watermark or the export locks.
6. Intellectual property and the model library
The Moqverse name and logo, the website and the Moqverse software are owned by Grooveneck or used under appropriate licences. These terms do not transfer any of those rights to you.
The 3D models in the built-in model library and the built-in can model are original works created for Moqverse. Their use is governed by the Moqverse Model Library License, which forms part of these terms. In short:
- you may use the mockups and other results that Moqverse allows you to create for personal and commercial purposes, including client work;
- you may not sell, distribute, share or sublicense the library models as standalone 3D files, on their own or as part of a model collection, template pack or asset library;
- you may not copy the model library into another mockup service or a competing product.
These are contractual use restrictions that apply to everyone who uses Moqverse.
Moqverse also includes third-party components, which remain the property of their owners and are used under their own licences:
- the three.js 3D library (MIT licence);
- the Inter, Archivo, Anton and IBM Plex Mono fonts (SIL Open Font License 1.1).
7. No warranty
Moqverse is a beta service and is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we give no warranty that it is error-free or uninterrupted, or that it fits a particular purpose. Colours, materials and sizes shown on screen are a visual approximation and may differ from a printed or manufactured product.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, loss of data, or loss of profit or revenue arising from the use of Moqverse or from its unavailability. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when new features are introduced. The date at the top shows the latest version. We will announce material changes on this website. The updated terms apply to use of Moqverse after they have been published.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
11. Disputes
If you have a complaint, please contact us first at [email protected], and we will try to resolve the matter with you.
If you are a consumer, you may also refer a dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board of Finland (kuluttajariita.fi), where its rules allow it to handle the matter. Consumers may also bring a claim before the competent court of their place of residence or any other court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
